Greetings and welcome to my first blog post! Kevin and I are a mere three weeks away from our transatlantic flight to Milan, Italy, where we will begin our 2 year adventure as travelers throughout Europe and dwellers in a city known for fashion. Other than brief stops through train stations and airports, neither of us have spent any time in Milan. But we already know that we love Italy and the people, the culture, and the fabulous art, history and food! Next week the movers come to pack and ship our possessions. What does one take abroad for 2 years? What will we miss the most after we are gone? We leave behind and in good hands several prized possessions- our beloved dogs and our generous honeybees. Our lives are in for some major changes, and we welcome the challenge, at least today.
